Deeporax Store Terms

The rules for downloading and using the apps in our store, including Roostie and Scrollshot. Your Deeporax website account and any website subscription are also covered by the terms at deeporax.com/terms.
1. What you get
Store apps are licensed to you, not sold. The licence is personal and non-transferable, and it lasts as long as you follow these terms.
2. Free, paid, and open source
Some apps are free, some are paid, and some are open source under the MIT licence, where that licence governs the code and these terms cover the store around it. Each app's page says which it is.
3. Roostie and App Store subscriptions
Roostie is free to download. Optional Roostie Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store (and, where offered, Google Play). Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings (on iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where the store applies that rule. Deleting the app or using Delete my data inside Roostie does not cancel a store subscription.
4. Apps with their own terms
Products that run on their own domains are separate services, and the terms published on that site apply to them.
5. Beta and in-development apps
Apps marked beta or in development ship as they are. They can change, break, or be withdrawn, and we would not put them in front of you if we were not still working on them.
6. Automation and agent tools
Some apps let an AI agent act for you, including driving your browser and running code in a page. You decide what to point an agent at, so you are responsible for what it does under your account and for the terms of any site it touches.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use our apps for spam, deception, scraping people's personal data, or anything that breaks the rules of a platform you connect. Don't resell or repackage an app as your own. Don't use Roostie's AI features to harass anyone or to upload content you do not have the right to process.
8. Platform rules
An app installed from the Chrome Web Store, the App Store, Google Play, or npm is also governed by that platform's terms, including Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement where Apple's standard EULA applies. Where they conflict with ours for that copy of the app, theirs win for distribution and billing.
9. Updates
Update checks tell an installed app that a newer version exists; whether you install it stays your choice. We may stop supporting old versions.
10. No warranty
The apps are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise an app will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Roostie is an alarm aid, not a medical device.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any app is capped at what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Termination
You can stop using an app and uninstall it any time. We may suspend access for accounts that breach these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
