Deeporax Store Terms
Last updated Sep 21, 2026
The rules for downloading and using the apps in our store, including Roostie, Scrollshot and Nivala. Your Deeporax website account and any website subscription are also covered by the terms at deeporax.com/terms, including the zero-tolerance ban on sexual content and deepfakes.
1. What you get
Store apps are licensed to you, not sold. The licence is personal and non-transferable, and it lasts as long as you follow these terms.
2. Free, paid, and open source
Some apps are free, some are paid, and some are open source under the MIT licence, where that licence governs the code and these terms cover the store around it. Each app's page says which it is.
3. Roostie and App Store subscriptions
Roostie is free to download. Optional Roostie Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store (and, where offered, Google Play). Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings (on iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where the store applies that rule. Deleting the app or using Delete my data inside Roostie does not cancel a store subscription.
4. Nivala
Nivala is free to download and supported by Google AdMob ads. Sections 4a to 4f apply to it, alongside the rest of these terms.
4a. Nivala is a decision aid, not an authority
Nivala suggests dinners and screens them against the dietary rules and allergens you enter. It is not a religious authority, certifying body, medical device or dietitian. It is built to fail closed, but ingredient data can be incomplete and settings can be entered wrongly. For a strict observance, an allergy or a medical condition, verify independently before you eat. Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates worked out from ingredients, not measurements.
4b. Your Nivala account
You do not need one. If you want your household and meal history to survive a lost or replaced phone, add an email and confirm it with a six-digit code; backup then switches on. Keep access to that email, because it is how a restore is verified and we may not be able to recover a backup without it. One account holds one household. You can delete the account from Settings → Backup at any time.
4c. Your Nivala content
You own the dishes and photos you add. By adding a dish photo you let us store, process and show it back to you in the app. Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing or that is not your food. Marking a dish as shared does nothing beyond your household today.
4d. Nivala ads
Ads are chosen and served by Google, not reviewed or endorsed by us; an advertiser's site or app has its own terms. Do not generate ad impressions or clicks by automated means.
4e. Nivala third-party services
Restaurant search, address lookup, weather, hosting, background removal, the optional calorie-from-photo estimate, backup and ads rely on Google, Komoot, Open-Meteo, Cloudflare, xAI and Supabase. If one changes or goes down, the feature that depends on it may degrade without that being a fault of the app.
4f. Nivala availability and ending things
Nivala is free today, and that may change with reasonable notice. The suggestion engine works offline; anything that needs a connection may not. Uninstall any time. If you have switched on backup, uninstalling does not delete it; use Delete account first. Uploaded dish photos are not removed by account deletion; email cfaysal099@gmail.com and we will remove them.
5. Apps with their own terms
Products that run on their own domains are separate services, and the terms published on that site apply to them.
6. Beta and in-development apps
Apps marked beta or in development ship as they are. They can change, break, or be withdrawn, and we would not put them in front of you if we were not still working on them.
7. Automation and agent tools
Some apps let an AI agent act for you, including driving your browser and running code in a page. You decide what to point an agent at, so you are responsible for what it does under your account and for the terms of any site it touches.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use our apps for spam, deception, scraping people's personal data, or anything that breaks the rules of a platform you connect. Don't resell or repackage an app as your own. Don't use an app's AI features to harass anyone or to upload content you do not have the right to process. You must be 18 or older to use any AI feature.
8a. Zero-tolerance content — instant ban
These uses close the account immediately, with no warning and no refund of a related Deeporax website subscription or credits: (a) sexual, pornographic, nude, fetish, or other NSFW content, including any AI-generated content designed for sexual gratification; (b) deepfakes and other non-consensual synthetic media of a real, identifiable person, including face-swaps, voice clones, and impersonation; (c) any sexual content involving anyone 17 or under. We may report those cases to Stripe, the app stores, and law enforcement.
9. Platform rules
An app installed from the Chrome Web Store, the App Store, Google Play, or npm is also governed by that platform's terms, including Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement where Apple's standard EULA applies. Where they conflict with ours for that copy of the app, theirs win for distribution and billing.
10. Updates
Update checks tell an installed app that a newer version exists; whether you install it stays your choice. We may stop supporting old versions.
11. No warranty
The apps are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise an app will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Roostie is an alarm aid, not a medical device. Nivala is a decision aid, not a religious authority, medical device or dietitian (section 4a).
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any app is capped at what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Termination
You can stop using an app and uninstall it any time. We may suspend access for accounts that breach these terms. A section 8a violation is an instant permanent ban. After a ban you must not use Deeporax or the store apps again.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes
